I am a practical, pragmatic counselor who believes we all do the best we can, but life gets messy, challenging, and stressful. My job as your counselor is to support you, who you are and where you are in your journey. My clients are welcomed and encouraged to be real and unfiltered with me.
My Education
I earned my Bachelor of Arts at Towson University and I am grateful to have earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Palo Alto University. In addition to the courses required to become a National Board Certified Counselor, I am educated in:

My Professional Journey
My professional experience includes work with those experiencing addiction and codependency, boundary setting issues, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, autism spectrum disorder, adult and child ADHD and symptoms of trauma.
I have worked with clients on many facets of the LGBTQ+ rainbow and those in non-traditional relationships. I also have experience with teens.
In Addition to Therapy
I was raised on the East Coast, spending summers on the northern Chesapeake Bay. I have lived in the North Scottsdale area since 2001. My two adult daughters were raised here. My husband, our pack of German Shorthaired Pointers, and I continue to enjoy Scottsdale and many of the outdoor adventures Arizona has to offer.
