From a young age, I have been deeply intrigued by psychology and mental health, recognizing early on the profound impact mental well-being has on our lives. As I embark on my journey into counseling, my purpose in therapy is to offer unwavering empathy and support as individuals navigate their challenges, fostering a more open and supportive environment for discussing mental health. I am committed to creating a compassionate and understanding space where you can explore your struggles without fear or judgment. By providing a listening ear and validating your experiences, I aim to empower you to better understand yourself and work towards healing. My goal is to be a supportive ally throughout your journey, helping you to build resilience and find hope amidst the difficulties you face.
I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Justice Studies at Northern Arizona University. I am currently in a master’s program for Clinical Mental Health Counseling at NAU North Valley where I graduate in May of 2025.
During my undergraduate years, I worked in hospitality for four years. After earning my bachelor’s degree, I transitioned to a role as a Registered Behavioral Health Technician, where I provided Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy to children with autism. This position holds a special place in my heart, as it allowed me to build strong rapport with my clients and actively contribute to their development. Witnessing their progress and playing a role in their growth was deeply rewarding and solidified my passion for working in the mental health field.
My specialties include:
I am a strong advocate for self-care for both you and myself. I believe that nurturing our well-being is crucial for personal growth and balance. Personally, I find joy in reading, cooking with my fiancé, and trying new coffee shops. I also cherish spending quality time with friends and family, and I find peace and inspiration in connecting with nature. These activities not only enrich my life but also help me to stay grounded and mindful, which I believe enhances my ability to support others effectively.
